Business Central Consultant with Walkerscott

A fantastic opportunity to work with an innovative and fast-moving technology business in Auckland.

Who are Walkerscott?

Walkerscott’s purpose is to ‘Make Business Better’. We do this through excellence in business applications; infusing analytics to create organisational intelligence while leveraging the Microsoft Azure cloud platform. As a Microsoft Gold Partner in Data and Analytics and Cloud Platform, our depth and focus in all things relating to Microsoft Technologies is a strength we bring to our customers.

A diverse bunch of people, we come together through a shared passion for listening and interpreting client’s needs, and empowering them with clever, effective solutions that leverage this technology to drive growth, innovation and efficiency in their business. In short, we ‘Make Clever Happen’.

The Role

You’ll manage the implementations of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central through the full project lifestyle, while also providing effective consultancy and communication with the Project Manager to enable projects to be delivered efficiently. You’ll also be preparing project estimates for completing projects and providing technical advice for the pre-sales team.

This is an excellent Greenfields opportunity with a view to eventually setting up an Auckland office. Currently we have a couple of people in Auckland WFH and catching up at a serviced office a few days a week, so this would suit someone who is self-motivated and excited about what we can achieve now and in the near future!

Requirements include your ability to:

  • Provide support to customers when needed
  • Provide technical advice for the pre-sales team
  • Undertake Presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients
  • Assist with the closing of new sales and manage existing clients
  • Mentor junior consultants where required

As this is a functional role, you will need to be an excellent communicator with strong customer-facing skills. Sharp document writing is a must, with the ability to write clear & concise reports and business correspondence - and occasionally you might also be required to produce manuals.

In return, you’ll receive a competitive salary based on your skills and experience, along with a host of other benefits and the opportunity to work with a fantastic team. If this sounds like you then I’d love to hear from you!

If you are currently residing in New Zealand and have the right to work permanently here, we would love to see your CV and a cover letter explaining why you would be a great match for this job.

This role is being managed by HainesAttract – all applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
