At Author-it (ASC) we provide an innovative cloud-based content development platform that lets businesses create, use and share content and critical documentation from anywhere in the world, and right now, we’re ready to grow. We have two products serving different industries: Docuvera focuses on SaaS solutions for the Life Sciences content lifecycle, while Author-it focuses on e-learning and technical publications. We’re scaling up our product offering and building on our impressive client base - and we’re doing it fast.

Play a key role where you make a real impact.

We’re looking for a sharp, detail-focused senior level Quality Systems & Compliance person. We’re working towards alignment with ISO 9001, ISO 20000 and ISO2 7001 and need someone to lead the day-to-day Quality System function for the business. This role will require you to establish an internal audit function and plan an annual internal audit programme – so those strong organisational skills and that quality knowledge will be put to good use! You’ll also be the single point of contact to lead and manage external quality audits, with support as required of course. Sound like you?

Establishing and maintaining policies to ensure compliance with all necessary standards across our global company; keeping up with computer system related regulatory requirements and compliances; ensuring all necessary processes across the company are documented and implemented - this is what drives you!

Ideally you will have experience within medical device or pharmaceutical industries - and a background in the software development field will be favourably looked upon. But that’s the ideal, we’re open to a variety of backgrounds so long as you have what it takes to take on this important role.

You’ll have an impressive sense of ownership of your job, and your solid experience in Quality Management has provided you with the ability to respectfully argue your case should you need to, be considered with your decision making and promote company-wide awareness of regulatory requirements.

You’re a people person so you’ll be well used to building rapport across all levels of business, including those working remotely. You’ll bring teams together, liaise with a variety of different stakeholders, from commercial through to super technical people.
