Welcome to Altus NZ Limited, arguably New Zealand’s most innovative supplier of aluminium to the construction and industrial sectors. Right now, we’re embarking on a brand rebuild to breathe new life into the fabrication brands across our windows and doors network, and we’re looking for a marketer with the passion and drive to play a starring role in it all. Sound like you?

Your new role

If you’ve been looking for the freedom to flex your creative skills in shaping a brand from scratch, you’ve just found it. You’ll hit the ground running developing and overseeing a brand growth strategy that takes our corporate brand, and our fabricator brands to the next level in the market, and work directly with agencies to deliver creative that wows. That means everything from concept development, production of TV spots, print and digital materials, through to market action plans, taking ownership of our brand websites and keeping us in top spots on search results lists. You’ll also be out and about presenting at conferences throughout the year, and get your copywriter’s pen (or keyboard…) out where creative wordsmithing is needed too! This is a truly dynamic marketing role where you’ll get all the creative control you crave, plus the satisfaction of seeing your ideas take shape as our brand recognition soars.

But perhaps you’re going… construction… industrial aluminium… not quite the sexy marketing gig I foresaw? Well, that bit is all up to you. An opportunity that’s what you make it, this is a challenge to bring a bit of flair to our market. We’re more than keen to be a point of difference, and we can’t wait to hear your ideas.

What you’ll bring

It probably goes without saying you’re a marketer with several years’ experience behind you. Bonus points if you’re already in the construction industry, but if not, we’ll soon get you familiar! The main thing is, you know what it’s like to live and breathe a brand, and you’re enthusiastic about doing that with ours. You may even join us from agency-land, ready to bring all your insider knowledge over from the dark side…

We’re after a natural leader with all the energy and then some! You’ll bring that coveted skill balance of creative muscle, plus an ability to open a spreadsheet without running scared! Your project management experience will put you in great stead to lead the ambitious rebrand we’re kicking off, and you’ll be a clear and natural communicator, ready to liaise with stakeholders at any level of the business or external group we work with. But most of all, we care about who you are within. If you share our passion for delivering products and systems that make lives better and communities stronger, we can’t wait to share our success with you.
