LookSee is an innovative international talent procurement programme that turns the traditional recruitment process on its head, by taking the opportunities in New Zealand to the world and, in turn, bringing the world back to New Zealand. We have an exciting short-term contract opportunity for a Candidate Manager to join our LookSee Tech team and we are looking for an immediate start.

LookSee is a big programme with a small agile team which sits under the wider business of HainesAttract. LookSee Tech is specifically designed to address an acute skills and talent shortage within the IT Sector, using a mix of search and digital/content marketing to attract talent from around the world.

About the role

You’ll work side-by-side with a Senior Recruiter to provide world class candidate experiences for LookSee Tech. You’ll be involved with candidate attraction and assessment, be the go-to contact for candidates, and responsible for coordinating candidate experiences from the job search right through to the successful placement. You’ll also assist with searching for candidates across various sources including deep database searches, social media and making the initial contact with potential candidates.

This opportunity would ideally suit someone who has a background, or at least an insight into the IT recruitment environment. In this role you will learn from highly experienced colleagues whilst providing candidate management and administrative support within different portfolios and candidates from all over the world. If you don’t have a recruitment background and you are an administration superstar with knowledge of the IT sector we would also like to hear from you.

Your attitude to work under pressure, keep an eye on the detail and juggle multiple projects is essential. In addition, you will have a passion for engaging people and a commitment to developing great relationships. We’re not all work and no play, so you’ll need a sense of fun too!

Your other skills include:

  • a self-starter with great time management skills and a sense of urgency
  • a proactive communication style and a naturally inquisitive mindset
  • a drive and desire to be the best you can be
  • great attention to detail and a commitment to great customer service.
