Join the team at Morphum, an industry leader in environmental engineering and sustainable solutions. As a Senior Environmental Engineer based in Auckland, you'll work on a diverse array of multidisciplinary projects spanning New Zealand and Australia. Your primary responsibilities will include:

- Leading Sustainable Solutions: Delve into comprehensive stormwater modelling, focusing on ecological enhancement within the study area.

- Technical Expertise: Offer specialist stormwater design skills on complex projects, elevating the standard practices with an emphasis on stream works and water-sensitive design device modelling.

- Quality Assurance: Review and release engineering design work completed by junior engineers, contributing to positive environmental outcomes while collaborating closely with ecologists and geomorphologists.

- Mentorship: Share your expertise with junior team members, shaping their development and growth while contributing to their understanding of stormwater modelling and design principles. 

About You:

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

- Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, hydrology, or water resources.

- Experience: 7+ years of practical experience in the field, showcasing a strong commitment to sustainable and environmental outcomes.

- Professional Certification: Being a Chartered Professional Engineer is a strong advantage.

- Communication Skills: Excellent communication abilities to manage site operations, handle customer queries, and engage effectively with contractors. Strong report-writing skills are essential, with a keen interest in three waters engineering.
