Factory Operations Manager
Company Overview:
Join a highly reputable specialist supplier, fabricator, and installer of Architectural Facades on Auckland's north shore.
Purpose of the Job: As a Factory Operations Manager, you'll spearhead business improvement endeavors to optimize production efficiency and elevate product quality. Take charge of overseeing the daily operations of our production planner, dispatch/logistics, and administration teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the development and execution of process enhancements alongside our Factory Production Team.
- Maintain comprehensive metrics to monitor factory performance and the progression of process improvements.
- Collaborate closely with the operations team to ensure consistent delivery of top-tier performance.
- Monitor team performance, establish objectives, and cultivate an engaged and proficient team.
- Oversee recruitment processes as needed, supported by Human Resources.
- Address and resolve employee disputes and performance concerns promptly.
- Cultivate relationships with fellow business leaders to ensure alignment on service expectations.
Health & Safety:
- Champion a culture of safety, ensuring all team members are well-versed in health and safety protocols.
- Lead by example in adhering to safety regulations and best practices.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Bring at least 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment to the table.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of at least 3 years in managing teams and achieving results.
- Experience in CNC production and operation is advantageous.
