At REANNZ (Research and Education Advanced Network New Zealand), we enable Aotearoa’s research, innovation and education sectors to achieve greater success in their endeavours. We provide a centralised platform for eResearch infrastructure, expertise and services. With these tools, our members and users can achieve bigger breakthroughs, faster.
Our team care deeply about impact, learning, and doing meaningful work that supports the growth of knowledge in New Zealand and beyond.
What We Do
We design, build and operate high-performance computing and data analytics infrastructure and deliver researcher-focused support services so the sector can maximise their use of our tools.
We also provide New Zealand’s National Research and Education Network (NREN), a specialist high-performance digital network, engineered to meet the unique, complex and data-intensive needs of our users.
Through our membership of the Global Research and Education Network (GREN) we connect our users to research institutions and educators all around the world giving them the chance to be part of global science initatives.
Our members and users span the research, education and innovation sectors; people who are pushing the limits of what’s possible in science, technology and learning. We make sure they can do that safely, quickly, and reliably, by providing infrastructure and support designed specifically for their needs.
